Movie scenes developed in its center Lamiaswhen gypsies attacked municipal police officers and a citizen.

It all started shortly after 8:00 pm, when in Lamia’s central square, Park Square, gypsies illegally parked their car. Two Lamia municipal police officers approached them and begged them to leave as they were in the way. Instead of any other response, the Roma first attacked a municipal policeman with particular cruelty, who was beaten all over his body and head. When the second went to intervene, he was also attacked, and shortly after that, a civilian who stepped into the middle was also brutally attacked.

When they saw that other citizens who were at that time in the square were moving towards them, they retreated, and the police began a search with the aim of detaining them.

According to the Star of Central Greece, 4 people were delivered to the building of the Fthiotida police department.

Three victims were taken by ambulance to the Lamia hospital, where they are being examined, and what worries the doctors is the blows to the head of one of the two municipal police officers.
