
The U.S. women’s gymnastics team won gold at the world championships in Liverpool on Tuesday.
The first place was taken by the USA team with a total of 166,564 points. The podium was closed by Great Britain (163,363) and Canada (160,563).
The USA are also world champions in 2003, 2007, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2018 and 2019, and with the gold they won in Liverpool, they surpassed Romania, winners of seven World Cup gold medals (1979, 1987, 1994, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001).
