In the second match of the day, the second favorite (Ons Jaber) beat the 7th ranked player in the world, Arina Sabalenko.
Zhaber started the match better, varied perfectly and took Arina out of her comfort zone (6-3). However, it was not enough to win. Sabalenko came back, leveled the game and managed to win the next two sets with a score of 7-6(5), 7-5.
