Paul Pogba misses the World Cup in Qatar

10 days before the announcement of France’s World Cup squad (November 9), Paul Pogba underwent an examination that revealed a thigh injury, sources in Italy reported, l’Equipe reports.

The midfielder was injured at one of Juventus’ training sessions, and according to the Turin club, muscle overload after increasing the intensity of training was to blame.

This injury followed surgery on his right knee, which caused him to miss the start of the new season.

N’Golo Kante will also not participate in the final tournament

It is the second blow for the France midfielder after N’Golo Kante was injured in the Chelsea-Tottenham match and will also miss the World Cup in Qatar.

The national team of Galicia will begin its journey to the World Cup in Qatar on November 22 against Australia, and on November 26 and 30 it will play against Denmark and Tunisia, respectively.
