
Last month, Mercedes unveiled its latest sports model based on the C-Class and signed by AMG: the Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance, featuring a hybrid engine directly inspired by Formula 1 technology.
To pay tribute to its mechanics and celebrate the 55th anniversary of its Mercedes-AMG division, the German firm is launching a new special series Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performancebaptized “Edition F1” available as a sedan or wagon. Limited, this special edition will only be produced for one year.
Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance F1 Edition: exclusive style
Like the Mercedes-AMG GT F1 Edition introduced in the spring, the Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance F1 Edition is different exclusive livery has signed Manufaktur, the German brand’s personalization program. There is an Alpine Grey, which contrasts with the giant AMG badging on the door sills, arranged in a gradient from gray to black. Red stripes on the door sills, front and rear bumpers and rims create a contrast throughout, while the 20-inch AMG forged wheels are finished in matte black.
The model is also equipped with the AMG Aerodynamic Package, which features several aerodynamic elements such as a more aggressive front apron, a small spoiler on the trunk lid (sedan only), side sill extensions, and a rear diffuser. For a more aggressive appearance, various elements are painted in glossy black, complemented by black chrome inserts. Finally, the silver chrome tank cap with AMG signature is exclusive to this special series.

Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance F1 Edition: specific interior
Inside is a upholstery combining black and red. The AMG Performance seats are trimmed in contrasting black Nappa leather with red stitching, and the front headrests feature embossed AMG logos. Other red elements decorate the interior, such as the seat belts, the AMG decorative inserts in carbon fiber with red thread, the red stitching on the AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather/Dynamica microfibre or even the door sill lighting with the AMG signature. There’s also exclusive “Edition” badging, as well as AMG floor mats with the signature “F1” in red stitching.
Each customer will receive a model upon delivery AMG inner cover exclusively to protect your car personalized with the “F1” logo. It has a breathable Ripstop synthetic fiber exterior and an anti-static flannel interior fabric to help protect your car from garage dust and scratches.
Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance F1 Edition: 680 horsepower hybrid engine
Under the hood, the C 63 AMG ditches the mythical V8 to house a small 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a 70kW electric motor and battery. In total, the power produced by this hybrid engine is with 680 horsepower and 1020 Nm of torquetransmitted to all-wheel drive through a 9-speed automatic transmission.
The price of this Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance F1 Edition has not yet been officially announced.
