
The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) this week increased its capitalization by 1.125 billion lei, or 0.63%, and the value of share transactions increased by 7.32% compared to the previous week.
According to data published by BVB and seen by AGERPRES, the capitalization of the stock market reached 178.435 billion lei in the period from October 24 to 28, 2022, from 177.309 billion lei in the week of October 17 to 21, 2022.
The turnover of exchange transactions amounted to 72.694 million lei, compared to 67.735 million lei last week.
The best trading day at BVB was Monday, October 24, when a turnover of 17.202 million lei was recorded, and the worst day was Thursday, October 27, with a transaction value of 12.625 million lei.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange – BET – ended the week at 10,835.92 points.
Shares of OMV Petrom were the most liquid securities in the main segment of BVB, generating transactions of 14.432 million lei and a price increase of 5.12%.
The leaders of transactions are the securities of Transilvania Bank with exchanges of 12.518 million lei (1.73%) and shares of Fondului Proprietatea with transactions of 11.638 million lei (-2.99%).
Rompetrol Well Services (+21.57%), Aerostar (+14.84%) and Societatea de Construcţii Napoca (+14%) recorded the largest increase in quotations.
At the opposite pole, Carbochim shares recorded a significant decline with a decrease of 10.71%, followed by UCM Resita (-10.37%) and Comcm Constanța (-7.87%).
