The visitors opened the scoring in the 4th minute thanks to Rodrigo, who took advantage of a mismatch between Joe Gomez and goalkeeper Alisson. Salah equalized in the 14th minute and Leeds hit the crossbar in the 20th minute thanks to Aaronson.

After several second-half misses for the hosts, Leeds scored the winner in the 89th minute after Summerville finished off a Gnonto break.

Liverpool remain in 12th place with just 16 points, 8 points adrift of last place in the Champions League, while Leeds are 15th.

Jurgen Klopp is afraid of not getting into the top 4

“It’s not my main concern at the moment, but I can’t help but notice the distance to the top places, but you can’t qualify for the Champions League if you’re playing inconsistently like we’re doing now. Everything is possible, but for that we have to win as much as possible more games,” Klopp said at the post-match press conference.
