The head of Ukraine’s presidential administration Andriy Yermak on Saturday accused Russia of “blackmail” and “fictitious terrorist attacks” on its own territory after explosions in the occupied Crimean peninsula on Saturday, Reuters reported.

“The primitiveness of Russian blackmail (can be seen) in everything. Blackmail is nuclear, energy, food,” wrote Andriy Yermak in Telegram.

Yermak accused Russia of “fictitious terrorist attacks on its own facilities”.

His comments were apparently a reaction to Russia’s accusations that Ukraine was involved in the bombing of the Black Sea Fleet in Crimea.

Ukraine says Moscow is using a “false pretext” to block the grain corridor

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on Saturday accused Moscow of using a “false pretext” to suspend participation in the Black Sea Grain Corridor.

“We call on all states to demand that Russia stop its hunger games and re-commit,” Dmytro Kuleba wrote on Twitter.

“Given… the terrorist act of the Kyiv regime with the participation of British experts against ships of the Black Sea Fleet and civilian vessels involved in ensuring the security of the “grain corridor”, the Russian side suspends participation in the implementation of agreements on the export of agricultural products from Ukrainian ports,” the message reads. Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The ministry reported that earlier Saturday’s drone attacks were mostly repelled, one minesweeper “Ivan Golubets” was slightly damaged.

As a result, Moscow announced that it was suspending its participation in the UN-brokered agreement on the export of agricultural products from Ukrainian ports.
