The first match is the most important for us, against Holland. This is a strong team, we know it well. He is in very good shape, but that only motivates us and allows us to overcome ourselves.

The Netherlands has been a medal contender every year since 2015, and is also the world champion. But this is the first game, and anything can happen. The Romanian national team completed the centralized training at Cheile Grădiştei and on Friday left for Hungary, where they will play two friendly matches: against Hungary on October 29 and against Germany on November 2 in Tatabanya. Flight to Skopje on November 3.

“Two very useful training matches for us against Hungary and Germany, two strong teams. The matches will show at what level the national team is now before the European Championship. The girls have prepared well so far and I feel they are motivated” – Florentin Pera.

The Romanian team consists of 18 players: Yuliya Dumanska, Dachiana Khosu, Diana Chuke – goalkeepers; Alexandra Badea, Bianca Bazaliou, Elisa Bucheski, Nicoleta Dinka, Sorina Grozav, Alexandra Dindiligan, Krina Pintea, Lorena Ostase, Laura Pristavica, Sonia Seraficanou, Andrea Tirle, Cristina Nyagu (capt.), Diana Lixandrau, Corina Lupei and Michaela Mihai .

The European Championship – EHF EURO 2022 will be held from November 4 to 20 in Slovenia, North Macedonia and Montenegro.
