Rescuers from Neamts are looking for a family with two children who got lost in the Chahlau massif, in the area of the Duruitoarea cascade, on Wednesday evening.
According to Salvamont Romania, family members called 112 and reported that they got lost, surprised by the darkness, Agerpres reports.
“Salvamont Neamţ intervenes after a 112 call to find and safely evacuate a family with two minor children from the Cascada Duruitoarea – Massiv Ceahlău area. The group, without adequate light sources, set out from Cabana Dochia this afternoon and were surprised by the darkness,” rescuers said.
The Permanency Intervention Team at the Salvamont base in the resort of Dureu went in search of the missing family.
