This obligation, imposed by the European Union as the main sponsor, is contained in the instructions for the applicant.

Thus, Appendix 3 a Instructions for the applicant 4.1.1 (and 4.1.1 Bis) in clause 1 of the section “Information, communication and advertising measures” provides:

• “At the beginning and at the end of the program/project financed by the Operational Program “Competitiveness” will be published in the mass media (including online media) and on the website of the institution/enterprise (if available) announcement or press release.
• Funding beneficiaries will provide confirmation of press releases (result news) or media reports related to the program/project at the time of the first reimbursement request submitted to announce the start of the project and at the time of the final reimbursement request for the announcement of completion of the project.
• Photocopies, print screens, photographs, original copies of printed materials are proof of the appearance of communiques/announcements/summary news.
