​Steaua (Bucharest) returned to the first place in the League 2 ranking, defeating Ocellul Galats 1:0 in the match of the 11th stage.

Chunchukov scored the goal in the 46th minute.

A few hours before the start of the match, representatives of the capital’s gendarmerie reported that several pyrotechnic materials were found at the Steaua stadium.

Thanks to this success, “Steaua” scored 26 points. The podium is closed by Uniria Dezh (24 b) and Ocelul Galats (21 b).

CSA Steaua is ineligible for promotion to the Superliga

Like last year (when it could not perform at the barrier to move to Ligue 1), CSA Steaua is still a club under public law and will not be able to move to the Superliga.

With a budget of almost two million euros, the “military” did not find a private company that could take over a part of the club, and the law does not allow them to engage in promotion.
