Marius Kreitoru, the favorite for the bench of the “purple eagles”

Now the management of Trivale club is looking for a new coach who can lead the team out of the crisis that the people of Argesh are going through.

Remaining without a contract after parting ways with FC U Craiova 1948, the 42-year-old technician is the favorite to become the head coach of FC Arges, according to digisport.ro.

Initially, Pitesti team sponsor Viorel Tudose announced that he was in talks with former Romania international Costel Halke, the last coach to bring a title to the FCSB pitch (2015).

Although he is also out of contract, Halke’s chances of signing for the 11th-placed side in the Romanian Super Lig are slim, given that the 50-year-old coach quit CFR Cluj in the summer of 2021.

If Halke fails, the main option is Marius Kroitoru, a young, motivated and serious coach who, despite being sacked from Kraiova Mititelu, has done a very good job at Botosani.

5 wins, 3 draws and 6 losses in all competitions is Kreitor’s record on the Olten bench. In Botošan, Kroitoru reached the playoffs twice and once in the European Cups.

Andrii Prepelita, the new coach of FC Kraiova 1948?

Andrii Prepelita has always been one of Adrian Mititelu’s favourites, and his potential appointment to Olteni’s technical bench cannot be overlooked. Mititelu offered him again in December 2021 when Triquet was sacked, but Prepelita then declined.
