Starting next month, we will have a first in Romanian sports. The Rapid Stadium in Julesti will change its name thanks to a public auction that took place in September and was won by Superbet.

Superbet Arena – Giulești, the new name of the Rapid Bucharest stadium

As reported by gsp.ro, November will be a month that will rewrite the history of Romanian sports with the signing of a contract between Superbet and Clubul Sportiv Rapid.

Giulești Stadium will be the first arena in Romania to bear the name of a private sponsor, following the example of other major stadiums in the world. Thus, the arena of the formation near Granta Bridge, now called Rapid-Giulești, will be Superbet Arena – Giulești.

Rapidul will receive 3 million euros for this complete rebranding

Over the next 5 years, the Superbet bookmaker will pay Rapid Sports Club 600,000 euros annually, and the location will change both internally and externally.

This money is very useful for the club from Giulesti, which annually spends approximately 800,000 euros on the maintenance of the arena.

“Thanks to this partnership, as well as the other sums they collect from the rent, Clubul Sportiv Rapid will eventually cover the costs of maintaining the arena. She would be the first to achieve this, given that others have great problems covering these costs.” – gsp.ro sources inform.
