On Sunday at noon, the annual memorial service was held in an emotional atmosphere at the Holy Church of Agia Theodoros in the First Cemetery of Athens.
Others present included former Prime Minister George Papandreou, Kostas Skandalidis, Michalis Katrinis, Manolis Christodoulakis, Pavlos Christidis and Andreas Loverdos.
“It has been a year since the tragic death of our President Fofi Gennimata. Her absence is very important for her family, for parliamentary life, for our party.
But her legacy remains for PASOK a compass for an autonomous course of policy that will always be people-centred,” he said after the memorial service. Nikos Androulakis.
