CFR Cluj defeated rivals University 2-1 in the second Cluj derby, which was held only three days apart. The match, which took place at the stadium under the control of the city hall, was included in the 15th stage of the Super League.

Dan Petrescu’s team scored through Deak (’25) and Malele (’61), while Eugene Nyagoe’s team reduced the gap thanks to Romario (’90+3). All goals were scored from kicks from 11 meters.
