The draw for the 2022 Champions Tour (to be held in Fort Worth from October 31 to November 7) was completed on Saturday following the results of the quarterfinals of the “WTA 1000” tournament in Guadalajara.

Maria Sakkari, the last player to qualify for the Tournament of Champions

Thus, Maria Sakkari (favorite 4) received the last ticket to the “2022 season finale”, defeating Veronika Kudermetova (8) with a score of 6-1, 5-7, 6-4. The match lasted two hours and 35 minutes.

The athlete from Greece will fight for entry into the last act of the competition in Mexico with the Czech Marie Buzkova (38 WTA).
