
Today 14 people crossed the threshold of the Kastoria courthouse, who were arrested last Monday at the Crystallopigi border station in Florina.
Seven of the detainees are employees of the passport control department and, along with two other police officers who were detained yesterday Thursday, were suspended from work.
According to ERT, the detainees requested a deadline for their testimony for today, Friday, after which the prosecutor and the investigator will decide whether they will be taken into custody.
The defendants, among other things, facilitated the entry or exit of Albanian citizens from the country in 1,700 cases for remuneration, and the total profit is estimated at 680,000 euros.
