In the quarters, Kudermetova (8) will meet the winner of the match between Danielle Collins (14) and Maria Sakkari (4).
The Guadalajara Open Akron 2022 is a WTA 1000 event with a total prize pool of $2,527,250 and a starting main draw of 64 players. The competition takes place from October 17 to 23. Jessica Pegula remained the main favorite of the tournament in Mexico.
