His Beatitude Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Mr. Jerome led today the consecration in the city of Areo Pago on the occasion of the start of a new judicial year.
The Minister and the Deputy Minister of Justice were present Konstantinos Tsiaras as well as Georgios Kotsiras, respectively.
The Archbishop wished the Chairman of the Supreme Court Maria GeorgiouSupreme Court Prosecutor Isidor Doyakoand to all the chief prosecutors and judges of a peaceful and fruitful judicial period, and added that with a peaceful attitude to face difficulties.
For his part, the President of the Supreme Court Maria Georgiou thanking the archbishop for his presence, he said that instead of a ceremonial gift, he would symbolically pay a sum of money Philoptocho Solidarity Foundation of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens.
Mr. Dogiakos, in turn, mentioned that the prosecutor’s office of the Supreme Court would symbolically contribute a sum of money.
The archbishop presented his photograph to the court apostle paul which portrays him on the Pnik stage.
