Volvo EX90: natural and recycled materials
Volvo EX90 seats are really upholstered nordic, a material consisting of textiles made from recycled materials such as PET plastic bottles and biomaterials from the forests of Sweden and Finland. In addition, Volvo EX90 customers can also choose upholstery wool blendcertified according to standards that guarantee the welfare of animals, as well as comply with environmental and social issues.
The interior of the Volvo EX90 also has inserts FSC certified wood, which are combined with lighting of warm and pleasant tones to create the atmosphere of a Scandinavian living room. The future EX90 contains almost 50 kilograms of recycled plastic and biomaterialsa first for Volvo: there is recycled plastic in PET bottles, but also regenerated polyamide which comes for folding car carpets.

Volvo EX90: customizable atmosphere

Volvo’s mobile app adds smart charging features that will charge the Volvo EX90’s battery when grid demand is lowest and prices are lowest, while storing stored energy for later use.
