Administrators of the Ukraine Weapons Tracker page note that the Russian T-80BV tank lost track during the impact, but the vehicle’s engine continued to operate, despite the fact that the crew was likely killed or injured.

The video, which is believed to have been shot by the Ukrainian military, drew sharp comments on Twitter, with one commenter saying the footage was a metaphor for the current situation in Russia.

The comment came as historian Mark Galeotti, one of the most authoritative experts on Russia-related issues, explained that President Vladimir Putin faced several traps of his own making and from which it was difficult to escape.

Other Twitter users responded with typical GIFs:

Many netizens also stated that the tank spinning in a circle is representative of the combat operations of the Russian army as a whole.

Although the explanation for the video seems simple in this case, it appeared less than a week later, showing a Russian armored car driving directly into a line of mines, even though it was clearly visible on the road, it seemed to puzzle even military analysts.
