Mr. Shinas expressed his satisfaction that “this awakening of the EU happened before the war.”

He also emphasized that “now for the first time at the EU level we have a huge set of rules that allows us to protect ourselves equally against digital and physical threats.”
“Is this our answer to all our problems? No. We are better prepared than ever at the EU level, no, we are not where we would like to be in terms of dealing with all threats, but we will get there,” said Mr Schinas.
