Farul Constanța, the current leaders of the Superliga (formerly Ligue 1), unexpectedly drew 2-2 in the Romanian Football Cup against CSM Alexandria, a group from Ligue 3. The team coached by Hyke Hagi performed with many reservations.

The game took place in Group C of the Romanian Cup (from this year, the competition has a changed format).

Gabriel Torrier twice brought the Faroese forward (at the 8th and 59th minutes), and Alexandria scored thanks to Mihai Stanko (35) and Choble (86 – own goal).
