The EU Foreign Affairs Council today placed 11 individuals and four organizations from Iran on its sanctions list due to human rights violations. EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said the decision to take action against those responsible for the death of Mahshi Amini and the brutal crackdown on peaceful protests in Iran was unanimous.
