Spaniard Alex Rins (Suzuki) won the Australian MotoGP Grand Prix, which took place on Sunday at the Phillip Island circuit.
Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), third in this Grand Prix, took first place in the overall standings of riders.
This was made possible after Frenchman Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) had to retire from the race after a mid-race crash.
Marc Marquez (Honda) and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) completed the Australian GP podium.
In the general classification, Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) became the new leader with 233 points. He is followed by Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), the reigning world champion, with 219 points.
