Thessaloniki Film Festival: woman protagonist of this year’s poster

A female figure, barefoot and dressed in shades of red and gold, hovers over the city. The source of life and the core of the world, it magnetizes and attracts everything that surrounds us and defines us. He is redefining the representation of women. Here’s what’s on his poster 63rd Thessaloniki Film Festival created by visual artist Dimitris Trimitsios (Taxi). It’s about a real-life superheroine who goes above and beyond in the myriad roles assigned to her. What requires each of us and all together to see with a new look.

The artist painted the original work on canvas and acrylic on paper. It will be exhibited at the 63rd Festival at the MOMus Center for Experimental Art, and then the artist will donate his work to the Festival to be sold at auction, the proceeds of which will go to support abused women.
