
The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Raphael Grossi, said that according to the agreement with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, he is returning to Kyiv after the meetings in which he participated in the Russian St. Petersburg, reports CNN. quoted by News.ro.
“As I agreed with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, after the meetings in St. Petersburg, I will return to Kyiv. Work on the creation of a nuclear safety protection zone at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant continues,” Grossi wrote on Twitter.

During a meeting on Tuesday broadcast on Russian state television, Russian President Vladimir Putin told International Atomic Energy Agency chief Rafael Grossi that the situation at Russia’s Zaporizhia nuclear power plant was “alarming.”
The Russian leader also told Grossi that Moscow is “open to dialogue” and will discuss “all issues” related to the operation of the plant.
