A person was found dead on Wednesday evening in a plot of land near the Capital Ring, in the Popesti-Leordeni area, initial indications are that it is a woman. The police are establishing the identity of the victim and the circumstances of the incident.
“On October 12 of this year, at around 9:47 p.m., the Ilfiv District Police Inspectorate received a message from a man by calling 112 that on a plot of land near the DNTSB, in the area of the village of Popesti-Leordeni, found a dead person, possibly a woman. Immediately, policemen from Popesti-Leordeni went to the place and demarcated the relevant territory. A medical team went to the scene and declared the person dead, as well as a forensic doctor from the Forensic Medicine Service of Ilfov to take measures within their competence,” the Ilfov District Police said, as quoted by News.ro.
Employees of the criminal investigation of Ilfov also arrived there to establish the identity of the deceased, as well as the factual and legal situation and take the necessary measures.
