FIFA announced on Tuesday that it will pay compensation to clubs that provide players for national teams that qualify for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
The forced pause that the European Championships will take during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar will bring money to the groups that will send players to the national teams that will advance to the final tournament.
FIFA will therefore distribute €215 million between these clubs, an amount equivalent to the amount paid for the same reasons at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Each team will receive an amount 10,280 EUR/day for each player available to qualified national teams.
The period between the official start of preparations for the final tournament and the day of the World Cup final in Qatar is taken into account, writes News.ro.
