Hidroelectrica, the largest electricity producer, with more than 3,400 employees in May this year, concluded a voluntary health insurance contract for all its employees for a period of 1 year at an auction at the end of September, according to data from the electronic State Procurement System.

The insurance contract was concluded with the insurance company Asito Kapital for the amount of 949,375 euros (excluding VAT), according to a message published on Sunday, October 9, in SEAP.

The initial estimated value of the contract was EUR 968,750. 6 offers were submitted to the auction from the following companies: Groupama, Asito Kapital, Asirom VIG, Inter Broker, Allianz-Țiriac Asigurari and the association formed by Signal Iduna (leader) and Campion Broker.

According to the tender specification, the insurance contract must contain several packages of medical services that cover the cost of medical services in private and public hospitals, medical services in outpatient or day hospitalization (including surgical procedures), etc.

For medical services available anywhere in the partner network (all medical institutions with which the insurer has entered into partnerships/contracts/agreements), provided to the insured in accordance with the insurance policy, payments will be made by the insurer directly to the relevant medical service providers, without involving the insured in the payment process .

In the case of receiving medical services in medical institutions outside the partner network, compensation for the cost of medical services is carried out on the basis of a compensation file. The insured will receive sick leave in accordance with the packages included in the insurance.

The maximum available amount of the insurance premium is 250 euros/insured person/year, also specified in the tender documentation.
