The Kremlin’s favorite propagandist, Volodymyr Solovyov, was furious after his calculations about the real size of the Russian army did not come true.

“We mobilized 300,000 [de recruți], that’s right. I removed them from the national economy. Ukrainians take note of this. OK,” says the TV host regarding the partial mobilization that Russian President Vladimir Putin decreed on September 21.

“But I am asking for the 156th time, we have two million people in the army, we have 150 thousand special forces. And they kept telling us, “It’s just the ground forces, but it’s not just the ground forces that are involved [la război]but also cosmonautics and the navy,” says Solovyov, who is considered Putin’s favorite propagandist.

“We have two million, of which 150,000 are real soldiers. I have a simple question: can these guys be drafted into the army? Where are the two million soldiers? 1,150,000 – who are they? Where am I? I see we have to hold them, we are being attacked from all sides, ok. But when I read how things are going for weeks… and Kherson is not full of strength,” he says.

His comments come in the context of what Igor Girkin, a former commander of pro-Russian separatists in Donbas, explained in Friday’s assessment of the situation at the front in this region in southern Ukraine, that the capital of the same name could fall in the possibility of a new victory for the Kyiv army.

Solovyov begins new attacks on the leadership of the Russian army

“Maybe I’m missing something?” Solovyov asks rhetorically, noting that even in the occupied territories of the Zaporizhia region, the Moscow military command did not send sufficient reinforcements to the Russian troops defending the front there.

“Then tell me where is the army? Just answer this question of mine. 1,150,000. You don’t have people who theoretically saw the rifle? Call them to arms, unite,” he continues his monologue.

He then refers to criticism of the military command in Moscow earlier this week by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov and Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of Wagner’s mercenaries. Then Solovyov returns to the professional military of Russia.

“And those who escaped? They had contracts, but when the special operation started, they suddenly didn’t want them anymore? What will we do?” – asks Volodymyr Solovyov.

His comments came after he complained earlier this week of the “lust” with which he attacked Ukraine’s armed forces, which he claimed had been emboldened by the catastrophic collapse of the Russian front in Kharkiv and the release of Lyman last Saturday.

In another of his shows this week, propagandist Yevgeny Satanovsky offered a list of “100-200” officials from NATO member states who must be killed so that Russia can win the war launched by Putin on February 24.
