
Two foreigners (aged 30 and 36) were arrested in a spontaneous procedure on Monday afternoon (September 26) in Glyfada by officers from the Drug Enforcement Subdivision of the Attica Security Authority for violating the law on addictive substances. .
In connection with the actions of the above service to detain merchants drugs and after investigating information about the activities of the above persons in cocaine trafficking to various persons in the wider area of Attica and on the island of Corfu, the accused were identified and their criminal activities confirmed.
In particular, when checking the car in which they were traveling in the Glyfada area, it was found that they shared a nylon makeshift bag with 500 grams of cocaine with the aim of transporting it to Corfu and further trafficking.
During a subsequent search of the hotel room used as temporary accommodation, a nylon bag containing 0.5 grams was seized. cocaine, three mobile phones and the amount of 1900 euros.
The arrested were taken to the criminal prosecutor’s office in Athens.
