He then adds that the superhuman efforts of officers from the Coast Guard, Navy, Air Force, Fire Department, Greek Police and Volunteers saved dozens of people yesterday, but not all.

And he concludes: “Turkey must respect its agreement with the European Union. Until he does, he will put human lives at risk.”

Mitarakis: appeal to Turkey to prevent illegal departures
