“We understand that it is difficult in the Kherson Region, and yes, we managed to avoid the encirclement and isolation of our forces. They (Ukrainians) go on the offensive, with joy, I would say, with gusto. There are plenty of them. They are exhausting their people, but they don’t care, because the losses of the Ukrainian army are being replaced by mercenaries,” says Volodymyr Solovyov.

“NATO smelled our blood. They are encouraged by how easy it was for them in the Kharkiv region and how quickly Lyman fell into their hands and now in the Kherson region…”, Solovyov says, not ending his opinion about the bad situation on the southern front and in Ukraine.

“They think the initiative is theirs, not ours, and they think they can rub their feet on us,” he adds.

On Sunday, the day after Lyman was released by the Ukrainians, Solovyov said that what happened there was “a serious challenge for us. “We need to get together, make unpopular but necessary decisions and act,” he added.
