Because in life you have to be able to ask yourself the right questions… The middle finger on the automatic radar: a good idea or not? – LE DALL Driver’s License Lawyer https://t.co/HSUCeBxhnk

Private cars with radar have been driving on our roads for several years. The verbalization method is obviously very much criticized by motorists and associations who condemn the tricky and unfair system. Indeed, these cars are not driven by law enforcement officers, but by employees private companies, who therefore do not swear to verbalize their fellow citizens. If the first months were a bit laborious, now these cars are starting to become really profitable. Indeed, the number of outbursts increased, which was very frustrating for drivers. And it is not for nothing that there are more and more of them on the roads.
An automatic speed camera on the RD 137 in St Sulpice d’Arnoult has been terrorizing drivers in recent days, flashing as they obeyed the speed limit!
This radar was undergoing maintenance. Therefore, there will be no verbalization. Thanks to the whistleblowers!– Gendarmerie of Primorsky Charante (@Gendarmerie_017) September 16, 2021
Verbalizations on the rise
Indeed, if at the end of 2020 there were only 83 of them, then at the end of 2021 there were about 150. In total, no less than 6,650,000 cars were checked during the year alone. And among them 7.5% of speeding, or about one in 13 vehicles. According to the Radars-Auto website, this is equivalent to 500,000 verbalizations during the year 2021. This number is increasing compared to 2020, which should continue to increase. Even last year 758,000 controls was made in the first half compared to 2,886,000 in the second half. A very significant increase!
.
Many offenses
However, according to our colleagues, in 2021 private radar cars contributed to the verbalization of 38% of all traffic violations, compared to only 9% in 2020. It is also clarified that most of these vehicles travel on the roads are limited to 80 or 90 km/h, while there are relatively few of them on highways. However, over the next few months, their numbers will increase and it will be increasingly difficult to escape from them…
