A video showing young Russians of conscription age breaking each other’s legs to escape mobilization ordered by Moscow is circulating on social networks.
In the video, a young man stands with one foot on the first step of the stairs while the other jumps over his leg to break it.
Earlier, a video appeared on social networks, in which a newly joined Russian says that recruits to the 1st tank regiment did not undergo any training or training.
“Without firing, without theoretical training. Nothing,” says another new recruit.
So think and decide for yourself… what to do next,” says the Russian in a video shared by the founder of WarTranslated, Dmytro.
Multiple protests against the partial mobilization erupted in Russia last week, but have gradually died down after detained protesters were reportedly handed orders to join.
The most notable protests this week remain the protests in the Republic of Dagestan.
The number of Russians entering the EU has increased following a partial mobilization ordered by Moscow, and illegal crossings could increase if Russia decides to close the border to would-be recruits, the EU’s border agency Frontex said on Tuesday.
“Over the past week, almost 66,000 Russian citizens entered the EU, which is 30% more than last week. The majority arrived in Finland and Estonia,” Frontex said in a statement.
In the last four days alone, 30,000 Russian citizens have arrived in Finland, the report says.
“Frontex estimates that illegal border crossings may increase if the Russian Federation decides to close the border to potential recruits,” the report said.
To avoid the convoys of cars that stretch for about 20 kilometers, Russians, who are trying to avoid the partial mobilization ordered by Vladimir Putin, cross the border with Georgia on foot.
