Russia: over 730 people arrested for protests against conscription

Today, more than 730 people have been detained throughout Ukraine. Russia in protests against the presidential decree on partial conscription, according to the government organization OVD-Info, which monitors the demonstrations.

OVD-Info reported that it became aware of detentions in 32 different cities, from St. Petersburg to Siberia.

The demonstrations are illegal under Russian law, which prohibits any activity that could discredit the military.

Footage from the same demonstration shows Russian police officers putting men and women into police vans.
