According to information and images appearing on social networks, on Friday Russia would carry out an attack with kamikaze drones of Iranian origin. The planes flying over the Ukrainian Black Sea city caused panic in the streets as anti-aircraft systems and the Ukrainian military opened fire on the drones.
According to information shared on Twitter, the drones that flew over Odesa on Friday would be of the Shahed-136 type – aircraft of the type of stray munitions (loose ammunition), which can fly long distances, have an explosive charge on board and detonate on impact with a target.
Images posted on social media show several such kamikaze drones, with at least one flying in the city center and another allegedly striking a target in the port.
It seems that one of the drones was hit by anti-aircraft defense systems, and on other footage, numerous shots can be heard, probably by Ukrainian forces, in the direction of the drones.

Another footage shows one such drone flying towards a building and exploding violently on impact, it is unclear whether it was shot down or hit the target. Judging by the pictures, the territory seems to be in the Odesa port.
In another video, one such drone falls over a gas station.
Ukraine’s operational command “South” confirmed that Russia attacked Odesa with Iranian kamikaze drones. A civilian would be killed.
“Russia attacked Odesa with Iranian Shahed-136 drones from the sea, killing a civilian and destroying an administrative building in the port area,” the operational command “South” reported.
