
Several varieties of Wudy sausages were withdrawn from sale in all stores in the country, the supplier demanded a voluntary recall of the products after the detection of Listeria Monocytogenes bacteria.
According to the National Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA), supplier Nordic Import Export has resorted to a voluntary recall of several types of Wudy sausages sold in Romania. These are classic Wudy sausages, various weights, chicken and turkey sausages, cheese/classic premium sausages, grill sausages, Pavo sausages.
“This decision was taken as a result of the detection of Listeria Monocytogenes, as a precautionary measure all batches of Wudy sausages have been voluntarily withdrawn from all points of sale in Romania for the mentioned batches and assortments (…)”, the companies showed. representatives
Customers who purchased one of these products are asked not to consume it and to return it to customer service at the store where they purchased it for a refund. Submission of a tax receipt is not required.
