The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, called on people in the territories occupied by Russia in Ukraine to avoid conscription into the Russian army by any means, and if they get there, to sabotage any activity of the enemy.

“The world will react absolutely correctly to fake referendums – they will be unequivocally condemned, and will react to the criminal mobilization that the occupiers are currently trying to carry out in Crimea and other parts of Ukraine, which they still control.

In Crimea, they are trying to find and mobilize as many men as possible. We already have proof of this. This is a deliberate attempt by Russia to destroy the Crimean Tatar people, this is a deliberate attempt by the aggressor state to take the lives of as many residents of the territory invaded by Russian troops as possible.

I have a simple request to all our people in the temporarily occupied territory: do the main thing – save your lives and help us weaken and destroy the occupiers. Hiding by any means from the Russian mobilization. Avoid recruitment letters. Try to reach the free territory of Ukraine.

But if you get into the Russian army, sabotage any enemy activity, obstruct any Russian operation, give any important information about the occupiers – their bases, their headquarters, their ammunition depots. And at the first opportunity to switch to our positions. Do everything to save your life and help liberate Ukraine,” Zelenskyi said in his speech on Friday evening.

The Head of the Ukrainian Nation stated that since the start of operations in the east of the country in September, about 9,000 square kilometers of territory and about 400 settlements have already been liberated.

“This tangible result was achieved mainly thanks to the help of our people from the temporarily occupied territory. Please do everything you can to increase this assistance. Give our special services all the information about those who organize and help to carry out this fake with fake referendums.

Provide all information about the Russian mobilization, about the Russian army in general. Help people in busy areas who need help: elderly people, single people, families with children. Ukraine will return to all its lands, and we must keep as many of our people there as possible,” he added.
