The Formula 1 chronograph collection is the most accessible of TAG Heuer’s models, which is why it is especially popular with the brand’s young audience. Of course, this is confirmed by the strong sporty character of this watch, by its dynamic design inspired by the world of speed and racing cars, as well as by its impressive color scheme and color combinations. Today, the Swiss company presents three new Formula 1 chronographs, which have expanded the collection of the same name. And it is in racing colors, i.e. in three primary colors that have been associated with motorsport for decades: red, yellow and bright green. These three colors were again used by TAG Heuer in their first Formula One models released in the 1980s.

The new chronographs feature a 43 mm brushed stainless steel case, while the crown, pushers and embossed fixed bezel with tachymeter scale are all black PVD coated.

The three black counters of the chronograph rise above the colored plate of the dial, which is made in the form of sunbursts, i.e. imitating the sun’s rays from the center to the periphery, which are muted and have an azure finish, i.e. many concentric relief circles.

The hands and parallel stripes on the hour markers are coated with white Super-LumiNova so they are visible in low light or in the dark. On 4 – a characteristic window with a date.

The racing spirit of the chronographs is also emphasized by the screw-down steel caseback, adorned with an embossed checkerboard pattern inspired by the characteristic black and white checkered flag of motor racing.

All three models are wrapped around the wrist with fabric-textured rubber straps in the same color as the dial, fastened with a simple steel clasp.

Formula 1 chronographs are water-resistant to 200 meters and feature precision quartz movements. Their price is excellent in relation to their quality: 1750 euros.
