The Prime Minister says that the Government will ensure in the new budget the management of the budget deficit and inflation, simultaneously with the determination of budgetary resources for salary and pension increases from next year.

Chuke also stated that the Ministry of Finance, in agreement with the main credit managers, will go to the first reading with the budget no later than October 20, so that it will be adopted at the government level no later than October 27, and in November the budget will be submitted to parliament for analysis and voting.
