The World Council of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) has approved the Formula 1 World Championship calendar for the 2023 season, which includes a record number of 24 Grands Prix.
A new race in Las Vegas and the return of the Qatari and Chinese Grands Prix will make next year the longest season yet, despite the loss of the French Grand Prix.
The season starts in Bahrain on March 5 and ends in Abu Dhabi on November 26.
Las Vegas will be the penultimate event on November 18, while China has been offered the date of April 16 after a three-year absence due to the Covid pandemic, writes News.ro.
