
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, suffered minor injuries on Wednesday as a result of a road accident in Kyiv, CNN reports, clarifying that Zelensky was not seriously injured.

The doctors who accompanied Zelensky provided emergency aid to the driver of the car and transferred him to an ambulance, according to a press release cited by CNN. “The president was examined by a doctor, he has no serious injuries,” the message reads.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier, Zelenskyi visited Izyum, located in the northeast of Kharkiv, a city that was recaptured by Ukrainian troops five days ago.
