“Today, Russian troops sent the maximum number of weapons to hydrotechnical structures,” wrote Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration in Kyiv.

“The goal is obvious – an attempt to create an emergency situation. It doesn’t matter to them whether people will have water or whether the city will be under water,” Tymoshenko said.

“This is a terrorist act against our people, against a certain city,” he added.

Kryvyi Rih is the birthplace of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

Photos published by other Ukrainian officials show that the rising waters of the Ingulets River have already destroyed the bridge in Kryvyi Rih.
