The Greek vice-captain of the Delta Poseidon went to Greece. It is one of two Greek-owned tankers that have been detained in Iran since last May after a raid by the Revolutionary Guards and while sailing in the Persian Gulf.

The above event took place the day after the Panhellenic Union of the Merchant Marine announced that an agreement had been reached on the release of sailors from both the Poseidon Delta and the Prudent Warrior.
