The British Times encourages its readers to continue their vacations in the Greek islands that offer relaxing moments by publishing a list of 10 relaxing holiday destinations.

The Directory of British Newspapers places it Andros at the top with its authenticity, stunning nature, kind people and trails. The list includes Folegandros for sunsets Nisyro for a view of the volcano, syros for cultural activities and Meganisi for a peaceful holiday.

Completes the “top ten” calm destinations Alonissos for wildlife, Milos for unique landscapes, h Patmos with its beautiful beaches and mysterious climate, Fishing hook for excursions, but Kitera for their idyllic surroundings.

“We have launched an ongoing and organized effort of extraversion as Andros offers in the post-Covid era what Greek but foreign travelers are looking for, such as outdoor activities, a mix of deserted and organized beaches, and above all, genuine hospitality. After a satisfactory season, tourist flows continue into September,” said Nikos Moustakas, Deputy Mayor for Tourism of Andros Municipality.

“Strong religiosity, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, together with unsurpassed natural beauty, create a combination of experiences that will impress travelers from Greece and beyond. Infrastructure projects, tourism promotions and cultural initiatives enrich our story and increase the number of visitors,” said Patmos Mayor Lefteris Pentas.
