PSD President Marcel Cholaku commented on Monday on Omânia TV about the attitude of some liberals participating in the TNL Summer School with the theme “New Level Leadership” who repeatedly chanted “m..e PSD” at the party that followed the debate.
“This can be an amendment to Enlightened Romania. It’s insulting and shows immaturity… I think they have an internal problem… when you don’t have the opportunity to develop something, then you curse,” Çolaku said, according to News.ro.
“Will there be any amendment to this, to the laws… regarding Educated Romania? To try to put it on paper! It’s shameful what happened and the president of TNL, I saw that she apologized and I congratulate her, because you know that admitting a mistake is also for politicians, but especially for young people… You surrender, I understand that everything, what happened leaves me with more than a bitter aftertaste,” Marcel Ciolacu said Monday night on Romanian television.
He emphasized that “next time” he will invite the liberal youth to the Social Democratic Youth to see how the discussions and seminars of young PSD politicians are going.
“I probably haven’t sat at the table with those at the microphone, and I never will. Everyone does what they can. From my perspective, their president made the right gesture. This can be an amendment to Enlightened Romania. It’s insulting and shows immaturity… I think they have an internal problem… when you don’t have the opportunity to develop something, then you curse. Even if it is a marriage, as some have said, not for love, I assume that there are no such crimes in arranged marriages either. I have no problem with the Swedish number,” the PSD leader added.
Young Liberals taking part in TNL’s Summer School on “New Level Leadership” chanted “m..e PSD” repeatedly at the party that followed the debate.
TNL leader Mara Maresh apologized on behalf of the organization for such unacceptable behavior.
