But other top-rated shows are now up for Emmys: Netflix’s South Korean series The Squid Game and Apple TV+’s thriller Severance.
If “Squid Game” wins, it will be the first foreign language program to win an award in such a large and important category. Acting Competition
Will Zendaya win another Primetime Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Euphoria, Laura Linney (Ozark) or Melanie Lynskey (The Yellow Vests)? Those who predict the winners do not have a clear favorite this year.
However, the biggest competition will be in the Best Actor in a Drama Series category. Jeremy Strong is on his way to a second Emmy win for his role in The Heir. On the other hand, the Best Comedy category is also very competitive. Bill Hader has already won the award twice for his role in the HBO series Barry.
